Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of October 26

On October 25, there were 192 combat encounters along the front lines. The occupiers launched the most attacks in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"In the Pokrovsk direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine halted 46 assault and offensive operations near the settlements of Lysivka, Selydove, and Myroliubivka," the report states.
Additionally, in the Kurakhove direction, the Defense Forces repelled 41 attacks near Hostre, Katerynivka, and Novodmytrivka.
Situation in other directions
In the Kharkiv direction, there were four enemy attacks near the settlement of Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy launched 17 assaults against the positions of the Armed Forces near Holubivka, Stepova Novoselivka, and Vyshneve.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 24 times, attempting to advance near six different settlements. The main efforts were concentrated in the areas of Hrekivka, Terniv, Torsk, and the Serebryanske forestry.
In the Siversk direction, the occupiers attempted to advance six times in the areas of Ivano-Dariivka and Vyimka, but all attacks were repelled, and the enemy had no success.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked once in the vicinity of Chasiv Yar.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy, with aviation support, conducted three attacks near the settlement of Toretsk.
In the Vremivka direction, based on updated information, the enemy carried out 22 assaults on our positions in the areas of Bohoiavlenka and Novoukrainka.
In the Orikhiv direction, the occupiers did not conduct any assault operations, instead shelling settlements with all available types of weapons and carrying out airstrikes.
In the Dnipro direction, Russian invaders attacked the positions of the Armed Forces three times but faced a strong response and incurred losses.
In the Volyn and Polissya directions, there are no signs of enemy offensive formations.
Along the border with the Sumy and Chernihiv regions, the enemy actively uses guided aerial bombs and strike drones from Russian territory against Ukrainian settlements and conducts artillery shelling.
Russian guided bombs are also detonating in the Kursk region of Russia, where our forces are conducting operations. According to available information, over the past day, the enemy launched 35 airstrikes, employing 47 guided bombs.
Russian losses in Ukraine
On October 25, Russian losses amounted to 1,690 troops. Additionally, Ukrainian forces neutralized 12 tanks, 45 armored personnel carriers, 29 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, two air defense systems, 56 operational-tactical level drones, 95 vehicles, and six units of special equipment belonging to the occupiers.
Moreover, aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 13 locations where enemy personnel were concentrated and conducted one strike against artillery systems.
