Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of October 11

Since the beginning of the day, October 11, 78 combat engagements took place in the frontline. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian occupants are most active in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions.
Russian shelling
During the day, several settlements in the Sumy region suffered from Russian attacks.
Russia launched artillery attacks on Ulanove, Kucherivka, Marchykhina Buda, Holubivka, and Studenka; Yureve, Rivne, Richky, Yastrubyne, Rybka, Kysla Dubyna, Stepne, and Obody were hit by Russian air strikes.
Russia also carried out 8 air strikes on the territory of the Kursk region, using ten UAVs.
Sectors
In the Kupiansk sector, Russia tried to advance to Ukrainian positions in the areas of Petropavlivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Kolisnykivka, Lozova, and Pishchane throughout the day. 4 Russian attacks are still ongoing. A total of 8 combat engagements were registered in the sector.
Russia increased the number of attacks to 8 in the Lyman sector. Fighting took place near Hrekivka, Makiivka, Novosadove, Nevske, and Bilohorivka. 2 fights are ongoing.
In the Siversk sector, Russia did not conduct any offensive actions but launched an air strike with a guided aerial bomb near Yasnohorivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian defenders continue to repel 2 Russian attacks near Kalynivka and Chasiv Yar. 4 Russian attacks have already been stopped near Ivanivske and Stupochky.
In the Toretsk sector, Russia attacked six times in the area of Toretsk. 4 Russian attacks were repelled, and 2 more battles are ongoing. Russia dropped 2 guided aerial bombs on Kramatorsk.
High Russian activity is still observed in the Pokrovsk sector. Clashes of varying intensity started 13 times today. Fighting is currently underway in the vicinity of Selydove. 12 Russian attacks were repelled near Myroliubivka, Myrnohrad, and Lysivka.
The situation remains difficult in the Kurakhove sector. 14 Russian attacks were repelled near Novoselydivka, Maksymilianivka, Kostiantynivka, Katerynivka, Antonivka, and Vodiane, and another battle is ongoing near Katerynivka.
In the Vremivka sector, Russian troops, with the support of aviation, attacked 10 times near Bohoyavlenka, Zolota Nyva, Novodarivka, Levadne, Rivne, and Olhivske, and 7 more engagements are ongoing.
No active Russian actions were registered in the Huliaipole and Orikhiv sectors today. Russia is conducting air strikes and artillery attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and localities.
In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 2 Russian attacks.
Situation at front and Russian losses
According to the General Staff, 169 combat engagements took place on the frontline over the past day, October 10. Russians exerted the greatest pressure on the Lyman direction.
Since the beginning of the war, Russia has already lost more than 666,000 personnel.
In particular, over the past day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated another 1,140 Russian troops, 8 tanks, 35 armored combat vehicles, and other Russian equipment.
