Since the start of September 30, there have been 159 combat clashes reported on the front lines by the evening. The situation remains most intense in the Pokrovsk direction, while increased activity by Russian forces has also been observed in the Kupiansk, Lyman, and Kurakhove directions, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The military command provided data on the operational situation as of 10:00 PM on Sunday, September 30.

Russian shelling

Throughout the day on September 30, Russian forces launched four missile strikes on Ukrainian territory using six missiles, along with 58 airstrikes (the enemy deployed 98 KABs).

Additionally, the adversary utilized 635 kamikaze drones and carried out over 3,400 shelling attacks on the positions of Ukraine's Defense Forces and populated areas.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv direction, the Russian army attacked near Buhruvatka, Starytsia, Tykhe, and Vovchansk 16 times. Currently, four battles are ongoing in the area.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted to advance toward the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Synkivka, Novoosynove, Hlushkivka, Stelmakhivka, Andriivka, Kruhliakivka, and Vyshneve 23 times throughout the day. Seven clashes are still ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, the Russian army launched 24 attacks in the areas of Hrekyivka, Makiivka, Nevske, Novosadove, Dibrova, Serebrianka, Hryhorivka, and the Serebrianske Forestry. Four clashes are still taking place, while the remaining attacks have been halted by Ukrainian defenders.

In the Siversk direction, the enemy made three attempts to breach the defenses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of Verkhniokamianske and Bilohorivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, three failed attacks by the enemy occurred near Chasiv Yar, resulting in losses for the Russian army.

In the Toretsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 17 enemy attacks near Toretsk, Zalizne, Nelipivka, and Shcherbynivka. Twelve attacks were successfully repelled, while five are still ongoing. The General Staff noted that the situation remains under control.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attempted to breach the defenses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces 34 times. Thirty-one attacks by the Russian forces were repelled in the areas of Novotoretske, Novohrodivka, Lysivka, Myroliubivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Sukha Balka, Mykolaivka, Selydove, and Mykhailivka, while three attacks are still ongoing in the regions of Novotoretske and Mykolaivka.

"The enemy is suffering significant losses - according to preliminary information, today our troops eliminated over 270 Russian soldiers in this direction, with 120 of them being irreversible," the General Staff reported.

Additionally, military command stated that three artillery systems and 11 vehicles of the Russian army were destroyed, along with five armored fighting vehicles and two reconnaissance drones. They also reported damage to five vehicles, three armored fighting vehicles, and two artillery systems of the enemy.

In the Kurakhove direction, the enemy launched 24 attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Hryhorivka, Kostiantynivka, Kurakhove, Tsukuryne, and Katerynivka. Seventeen attacks were repelled, while seven engagements are still ongoing.

The General Staff noted that over 100 Russian soldiers were eliminated in this section of the front, with 50 of them being irreversible.

"Four tanks, eight armored fighting vehicles, one unit of automotive equipment, and two reconnaissance drones were destroyed, in addition to one unit of automotive equipment that was damaged," reported the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

In the Vremivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled eight enemy attacks near Vuhledar, Bohoyavlenka, and Zolota Nyva, with six attacks successfully repelled and two ongoing.

In the Orikhiv direction, Russian forces continued attempts to dislodge Ukrainian Armed Forces units from their positions, resulting in one unsuccessful assault for the enemy.

The General Staff also noted that there have been no significant changes in the remaining directions.

Additionally, the military command stated that the operation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Kursk region is ongoing.

Earlier, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that over the past day, Russian forces lost 1,250 soldiers, five tanks, 27 armored fighting vehicles, 27 artillery systems, and other equipment on the front lines.
