Over the past day, September 29, a total of 153 battles took place on the frontlines, with the most intense fighting occurring in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Yesterday, the aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces conducted 14 strikes on areas where enemy personnel and military equipment were concentrated. Additionally, two artillery systems and an electronic warfare station were neutralized," the General Staff wrote.

Situation in frontline directions

In the Kharkiv direction, three clashes occurred near Vovchansk.

In the Kupiansk direction, there were 13 battles near Vyschneve, Kucherivka, Kruhliaivka, Novosynove, and Lozova.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy launched 12 attacks near Makiivka, Zarechne, Bilohorivka, Nevske, and in the Serebrianske Forestry area.

In the Siversk direction, one battle took place near Verkhniokamianske.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces attacked eight times near Bila Hora and Chasiv Yar.

In the Toretsk direction, eleven clashes were recorded near Shcherbynivka, Toretsk, and Nelipivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 28 enemy assaults near the settlements of Vozdvyzhenka, Myroliubivka, Novotoretske, Mykolayivka, and others. The highest concentration of attacks occurred near Selydove.

In the Kurakhove direction, twenty-five attacks were halted near Tsukuryne, Oleksandropil, Heorhiivka, Bohoyavlenka, Katerynivka, and Kostiantynivka.

In the Vremivka direction, Russian forces conducted 17 offensive actions near Vuhledar, Bohoyavlenka, Katerynivka, and Yelyzavetivka.

In the Orikhiv direction, three clashes were recorded, with Ukrainian defenders repelling enemy assaults near Novodanylivka.

Russian losses in war

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost more than 653,000 personnel. In the past day alone, the Defense Forces eliminated another 1,250 occupiers and destroyed:

  • 5 tanks;
  • 27 armored fighting vehicles;
  • 27 artillery systems, among other equipment.
