The Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff recorded 134 combat engagements in the frontline over the last day.

Russia launched 2 missile attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units using four missiles. In addition, 81 air strikes were carried out, during which 116 guided aerial bombs were dropped. In total, Russia conducted 4,594 attacks, 114 of which involved the use of multiple-launch rocket systems.

Russian air strikes affected such localities as Riasne, Lyptsi, Novi Vyrky, Sumy, Chasiv Yar, Toretsk, and others. In particular, 13 combat engagements were recorded in the Kharkiv sector and four attacks in the Kupiansk sector. In the Lyman sector, Russia tried to advance in the areas of Nevske, Terny and Makiivka, carrying out 11 attacks.

Ukrainian Defense Forces are also active at the front: aviation and artillery carried out 12 strikes on Russian concentrations and hit several important facilities, including 2 artillery systems and an ammunition depot.

The most intense fighting is taking place in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian defenders stopped 54 Russian assault operations. Fighting also continues in the Kurakhove, Vremivka, and Orikhiv sectors. Russia is suffering significant losses and is retreating.

On the borders with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, Russia is actively using guided aerial bombs, which explode not only on Ukrainian territory but also in Russia itself.

Over the past 24 hours, on 13 August, the Russian invaders lost 1240 soldiers, 57 artillery systems, and 5 multiple launch rocket systems at the front.
