Over the past day, July 21, 117 combat engagements were registered in the frontline. Nearly Russian 40 offensive and assault attacks were repelled in the Pokrovsk sector, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Yesterday, the aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit a Russian control center, an ammunition depot, four artillery systems, two air defense systems, a radar station, and 15 areas of concentration of Russian personnel and military equipment,” Ukraine's General Staff writes.
Sectors
In the Kharkiv sector, 12 firefights took place in the areas of Vovchansk and Hlyboke.
In the Kupiansk sector, 11 Russian attacks were repelled near Synkivka, Stelmakhivka, Berestove, and in the direction of Hlushkivka.
In the Lyman sector, Russians attacked 11 times near Makiivka, Nevske, and Terny.
In the Siversk sector, 9 Russian attacks were repelled near Verkhniokamianske and Vyimka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, 13 Russian attacks were repelled in the areas of Chasiv Yar, where more than half of the engagements took place, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Toretsk sector, Russians attacked 8 times near the towns of Pivnichne, Zalizne, and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk sector, 39 Russian attacks were repelled in the areas of Vozdvyzhenka, Novoselivka Persha, Novooleksandrivka, Prohres, Kalynove, and Umanske in the Donetsk region.
In the Kurakhove sector, Russians tried to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops seven times in the areas of Krasnohorivka and Paraskoviivka.
A Russian attack was repelled in the Vremivka sector. At the same time, the Russians actively used aviation against Vuhledar, Katerynivka, Urozhaine, and Staromaiorske, Kostiantynivka, Rozlyv, Neskuchne, and Vremivka.
In the Orikhiv sector, 3 Russian attacks were repelled near Robotyne and Novodanylivka.

Russia's losses in war against Ukraine
