Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of June 6
There were 111 combat engagements in the frontline over the last day. Since the beginning of the day, 29 combat engagements have already been recorded, the situation is tense in two frontline areas, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Over the last day, the Air Force, missile forces, and artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit 12 areas of Russian personnel concentration and several other important objects, including two UAV ground control stations and one Russian air defense system.
Situation in sectors
In the Kharkiv sector, there were no active Russian attacks today. Over the past day, the total losses of the Russian invaders in this sector amounted to 179 troops, 42 of which were irreversible.
In the Kupiansk sector, Russian attack continues in the area of Druzheliubivka. The situation is under control. According to the updated information, Russia lost 126 troops killed and wounded in this sector yesterday.
Since the beginning of the day, Russia attacked once in the area of Bilohorivka in the Siversk sector.
In the area of Klishchiivka in the Kramatorsk sector, Russia's assault was unsuccessful, and the battle continues in the area of Ivanivske.
The situation in the Pokrovsk sector has been tense since the beginning of the day. Russia is trying to advance in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Kalynove, Yevhenivka, Sokil, Novoselivka Persha, and Yasnobrodivka. 4 Russian attacks have been repelled without success for Russians, and 6 combat engagements are still ongoing. Ukrainian Defense Forces are taking measures to stabilize the situation.
Over the past day, the total losses of the Russian invaders in this area amounted to more than 440 people.
The situation is tense in the Kurakhove sector. Two firefights continue in the areas of Paraskoviivka and Krasnohorivka. The situation is under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
In the Vremivka sector, five firefights have already taken place since the beginning of the day in the areas of Urozhaine and Novodarivka. 3 Russian attacks were repelled without success for Russians, and combat actions are ongoing in the vicinity of Urozhaine.
In the area of Mala Tokmachka in the Orikhiv sector, the Russia's actions were unsuccessful.

Fighting in north of Kharkiv region
On May 10, Russian troops launched a second offensive in the north of Kharkiv region. The Russians managed to occupy several settlements and enter the city of Vovchansk.
Local authorities do not rule out the possibility that the Russian occupiers may start fighting in the direction of Zolochiv. Ukrainian border guards also do not rule out the expansion of the combat zone to the borders of Ukraine and Russia.
