Russian troops are pressuring in the Lyptsi area near Kharkiv, and Ukrainian Forces have eliminated more than 80 personnel in the Kurakhove direction in the Donetsk region, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The military reports that the enemy continues to focus its main efforts in the Kupiansk and Pokrovsk directions.

Situation in Kharkiv region

In the Kharkiv direction, the Russian forces continue to put pressure in the area of Lyptsi. Our troops are also active. The total number of combat engagements increased to eight. Another air strike was conducted in Vovchansk.

The situation is tense in the Kupiansk direction, with 22 combat engagements in eight different localities.

Confirmed total enemy losses in personnel amounted to 106 people. Two units of armored personnel carriers, armored personnel carriers and vehicles were destroyed.

Situation in Donetsk region

One battle is taking place in the Lyman direction, and five more enemy attacks have been repelled so far.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the total number of enemy attempts to improve the tactical situation increased to eight. The situation is under control. In addition, the Russian army launched missiles near Novomykolaivka and dropped a guided aerial bomb near Shumy.

In the Pokrovsk direction, 12 firefights continue in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Prohres, Solovyove, Sokol and Umanske.

The General Staff reported that six more attacks have already been repelled. The enemy suffered losses in manpower: 68 irrecoverable casualties and 140 sanitary casualties. Information on the damaged military equipment is being clarified.

The total number of combat engagements in the Kurakhove direction increased to ten. Russian forces have already lost 81 people in wounded and killed. One Russian tank was destroyed and two more were damaged.

Battles on the left bank of the Dnipro River

The military reported that in the Prydniprovskyi direction, four attacks by the Russiam army were repelled near the village of Krynky.

At the same time, the situation did not change significantly in other areas.

Situation on the battlefield

In its report, the Institute for the Study of War stated that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding back the Russian offensive in the Kharkiv region, which may send African mercenaries to attack.

Earlier, the General Staff reported that Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine amounted to 1,300 personnel over the day of May 21-22.
