Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of March 7

In Ukraine, there were 92 combat clashes on the front line over a day. The aggressor's forces are conducting assault operations on three fronts in the Donetsk region, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian attacks
In total, the enemy launched 6 missiles and 90 aviation strikes and carried out 115 shelling attacks with reactive multiple rocket launch systems on the positions of our troops and civilian areas. Unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population as a result of Russian terrorist attacks. Multi-storey and private houses, as well as other objects of civilian infrastructure, have been destroyed and damaged.
During the past day, the settlements of Seredyna-Buda, Tovstodubove, Volfyne, Khrapivschyna, and Kamianka in the Sumy region; Zarichne, Nesterne, Krasnyi Yar, Chorne, Kozacha Lopan, and Tabaivka in the Kharkiv region; Yampolivka, Terni, Bohdanivka, Stupochky, New York, Pokrovsk, Novobakhmutivka, Ocheretyne, Netailove, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Vodiane, Urozhaine, and Staromaiorske in the Donetsk region; Novodarivka, Chervone, Malynivka, and Mala Tokmachka in the Zaporizhzhia region were subjected to aviation strikes.
Over 100 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.
Frontline situation
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains relatively unchanged
In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the transfer of our forces to threatened directions, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the Kupiansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 4 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Synkivka and Tabaivka in the Kharkiv region.
In the Lyman direction, defenders repelled 11 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Terni, Spirne in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled 11 enemy attacks near the settlements of Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 21 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Berdychi, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the Defense Forces continue to restrain the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where the enemy attempted to break through our troops' defense 20 times.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy conducted 16 attacks in the areas west of Verbovе and Robotynе in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold their positions. During the past day, the enemy carried out 1 unsuccessful assault.
Enemy losses
During the past day, the defense aviation struck at 7 areas of enemy personnel concentration.
Missile troops units targeted 1 area of personnel concentration, 1 ammunition depot, and 4 enemy artillery units.
