Ukrainian military forces repelled 17 enemy attacks in the Luhansk direction, holding their positions and repelling assaults by occupying forces in the Kherson direction. Aviation struck at 11 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian shelling

During the past day, there were 90 combat engagements. Overall, the enemy launched 8 missile and 55 aviation strikes, as well as conducted 137 artillery bombardments using multiple rocket launchers targeting our troops' positions and civilian areas.

As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, there are, unfortunately, casualties among the civilian population. Multi-story and private houses, medical facilities, as well as critical infrastructure objects have suffered destruction and damage.

Aviation strikes targeted:

  • Udy, Hatyshche, Katerynivka in the Kharkiv region;
  • Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region;
  • Rozdolivka, Terny, Avdiivka, Semenivka, Lastochkyne, Oleksandrivka in the Donetsk region.

Over 110 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.

Frontline situation

In the Volyn and Polissya directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, conducts sabotage activities to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatened directions, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupiansk direction, our defenders repelled 3 enemy attacks near Synkivka in the Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, our soldiers repelled 17 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Terny, Yampolivka, and Torske in the Donetsk region and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Defense Forces repelled 13 enemy attacks near Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 38 enemy attacks in the area of Lastochkyne, Avdiivka, west of Berdychiv, and another 5 attacks near Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.

In the Maryinka direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy near Heorhiivka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Here, the invaders, with the support of aviation, tried 12 times to break through the defense of our troops.

In the Novopavlivka direction, no enemy offensive (storming) actions were noted.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to attack the positions of our troops three times southeast of Mala Tokmachka.

In the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold their positions and repel the assaults of the occupying forces.

Despite significant losses, the enemy continues its attempts to dislodge our units from their positions. During the past day, the enemy launched 4 unsuccessful assaults.

At the same time, Ukrainian soldiers are actively engaging and inflicting losses on the occupying forces in terms of personnel and equipment, wearing down the enemy along the entire front line.

Enemy losses

During the day, the air force of the Defense Forces struck 11 areas where the personnel and the air defense missile system of the occupiers were concentrated.

Rocket troops units struck 3 areas of personnel concentration, 2 areas of artillery firing positions, 1 ammunition depot, 2 radar stations, and 2 enemy air defense assets.

The total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 400,300 military personnel.
