Missile troops units targeted 6 Russian personnel concentration areas. Within a day, there were 64 combat clashes, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian shelling
The Russian Federation continues its aggressive war. Despite significant losses, it does not abandon plans for the full occupation of Ukraine, ignores the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, strikes military and civilian objects. The enemy actively employs aviation and FPV-type quadcopters, conducts assault actions with the support of armored vehicles.
The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains challenging.
During the day, there were 64 combat clashes.
Overall, the enemy delivered 4 missile strikes, 91 aviation strikes, conducted 83 shelling with multiple rocket launchers at our troops' positions and populated areas. Unfortunately, there are casualties among the civilian population due to Russian terrorist attacks. Multistory and private houses, as well as critical infrastructure objects, suffered destruction and damage.
Frontline situation
On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, the operational situation remains unchanged. No signs of offensive group formations have been detected. Identified Belarusian armed forces units are carrying out tasks in border areas with Ukraine.
On the Siversk and Slobozhanske fronts, the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts reconnaissance activities, shells populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine. More than 20 populated areas, including Seredyna-Buda, Druzhba, Bachiivsk, Volfyne, Volodymyrivka, Oleksandrivka in the Sumy region; Udy, Strilecha, Vovchansk, Nesterne, Chuhunivka, Dvorichanske in the Kharkiv region, were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar shelling.
On the Kupiansk front, our defenders repelled an enemy attack in the area of Ivanivka village in the Kharkiv region. Approximately 10 populated areas, including Dvorichna, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Berestove in the Kharkiv region, came under artillery and mortar fire.
On the Lyman front, Ukrainian soldiers repelled an enemy attack in the area of Terny village in the Donetsk region, where the enemy attempted to breach the defense of our troops. The enemy conducted airstrikes in the areas of Riznykivka, Kuzminivka, Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region. More than 10 populated areas, including Nevske, Biloohorivka in the Luhansk region, Terny, Kolodiazi, Zakitne, Spirne, Pazeno in Donetsk region, were affected by enemy artillery and mortar shelling.
On the Bakhmut front, defense forces repelled an enemy attack in the area of Klishchiivka village in the Donetsk region, where the enemy sought to improve tactical positions. Additionally, the enemy conducted airstrikes in the areas of Ivanivske, New York villages in the Donetsk region. Approximately 10 populated areas, including Vasiukivka, Hryhorivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Andriivka, New York in the Donetsk region, came under artillery and mortar fire.
On the Avdiivka front, Ukrainian troops repelled over 25 enemy attacks in the area of Avdiivka and 3 more attacks in the areas of Severne and Nevelske villages in Donetsk region, where the enemy, with aviation support, continues attempts to capture Avdiivka. Additionally, Russian invaders conducted airstrikes in the areas of Oleksandrivka, Novooleksandrivka, Novokalynove, Ocheretyne, Novobakhmutivka, Orlivka, Lastochkine in the Donetsk region. Approximately 20 populated areas, including Oleksandrivka, Keramik, Ocheretyne, Karlivka, Netailove, Nevelske in the Donetsk region, were affected by enemy artillery and mortar shelling.
On the Maryinka front, defense forces continue to deter the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Pobieda, and Novomykhailivka villages in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with aviation support, attempted to improve tactical positions over 20 times. Russian occupiers also conducted airstrikes in the area of Kostiantynivka village in the Donetsk region. Populated areas such as Krasnohorivka, Kurakhove, Heorhiivka, Pobeda, Katerynivka, Yelyzavetivka, in the Donetsk region, came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.
On the Novopavlivka front, Ukrainian soldiers repelled an enemy attack south of Zolota Nyva village in the Donetsk region. The enemy conducted airstrikes in the areas of Vodyane, Vuhledar, Shevchenko in the Donetsk region. Approximately 10 populated areas, including Vodiyane, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Biahodatne, and Staromaiorske in the Donetsk region, were affected by enemy artillery and mortar shelling.
On the Zaporizhzhia front, defense forces repelled 2 enemy attacks in the areas west of Verbovyi and Robotyne villages in the Zaporizhzhia region. The aviation of Russian invaders struck the populated areas of Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region. Approximately 30 populated areas, including Olhivske, Huliapole, Zaliznychne, Bilohiria, Shcherbaky, Lobkove, and Stepnohirsk in the Zaporizhzhia region, were affected by enemy artillery and mortar shelling.
On the Kherson front, the enemy does not abandon its intention to expel Ukrainian units from bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro River. During the day, Russian invaders made 7 unsuccessful attempts to storm our troops' positions. Artillery and mortar shelling affected areas such as Kherson and Mykhailivka, Kyzomys in the Kherson region.
Enemy losses
During the day, the defense aviation struck 10 areas of personnel concentration and 3 enemy anti-aircraft missile complexes.
Rocket troops units inflicted damage on 6 areas of personnel concentration, 5 artillery units, 2 ammunition depots, and 3 electronic warfare assets of the Russian invaders.
