Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of February 13

Ukrainian military forces repelled 35 enemy attacks in the Maryinka direction, holding their positions and thwarting assaults by occupation forces in the Kherson direction. Missile troops struck seven enemy personnel concentration areas, according to data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian shelling
During the past day, there have been 84 armed clashes. In total, the enemy launched 5 missile strikes and 113 aviation attacks, along with 135 rocket artillery barrages targeting our troops' positions and civilian areas.
Regrettably, due to Russian terrorist attacks, there are civilian casualties. Multi-story and private residences, as well as other civilian infrastructure, have been damaged and destroyed.
The following areas experienced aerial strikes:
- Vyimka, Klishiivka, New York, Oleksandrivka, Avdiivka, Lastochkyne, Novokalynove, Kostiantynivka, Novomykhailivka, Paraskoviivka, Staromaiorske in the Donetsk region;
- Novodarivka, Huliaipole, Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region;
- Krupytsia, Krynyky, Beryslav in the Kherson region.
More than 110 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.
Frontline situation
In the Volyn and Polissya directions, the operational situation remains largely unchanged.
In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, conducting active sabotage activities to prevent the redeployment of our troops to threatened areas, and increasing the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the Kupiansk direction, our defenders repelled 2 enemy attacks near Synkivka and Tabaiivka in the Kharkiv region.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 3 enemy attacks near Terny and north of Vesele in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, the Defense Forces repelled 7 attacks by the occupiers near the settlements of Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Andriivka, and Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who persists in attempting to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers steadfastly maintain their defense, inflicting significant losses on the aggressors.
Defense forces repelled 22 enemy attacks in the Avdiivka area during the past day and another 7 attacks near Tonenke and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
In the Maryinka direction, Ukrainian soldiers continued to hold back the enemy near Hryhorivka, Pobeda, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where 35 attacks were repelled.
In the Novopavlivka direction, our defenders repelled an enemy attack south of Prechystivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Ukrainian troops repelled an enemy attack west of Novopokrovka in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold positions and repel assaults from the occupying forces. Despite significant losses, the enemy persists in attempting to dislodge our units from their positions. Over the past day, the enemy launched 2 unsuccessful assault attempts.
Meanwhile, our troops continue active operations, inflicting casualties on the occupying forces in personnel and equipment, wearing down the enemy along the entire front line.
Enemy losses
During the past day, the Defense Forces' aviation conducted strikes on 13 areas where enemy personnel, weaponry, and military equipment were concentrated. Additionally, Ukrainian air defense units successfully neutralized 7 reconnaissance UAVs.
Rocket forces units targeted 7 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, destroying 1 artillery unit and 1 air defense system belonging to the enemy.
The total number of losses incurred by the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion amounts to 395,990 military personnel.
