Ukrainian Forces repelled 25 enemy attacks in the Lyman direction and continued efforts to expand their foothold in the Kherson direction. Rocket Forces successfully targeted and destroyed four enemy artillery systems, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian shelling

Over the past day, there have been 103 combat engagements. The enemy conducted a total of 1 missile and 23 aviation strikes, launching 59 shelling attacks from multiple rocket launcher systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, due to Russian terrorist attacks, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have suffered destruction and damage.

The following areas were subjected to aviation strikes:

  • Avdiivka, Orlivka, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.

Over 110 populated areas in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.

Frontline situation

In the Volyn and Polissya directions, the operational situation remains without significant changes.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains military presence in the border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the redeployment of our forces to threatening directions, and increases the density of mine-explosive obstacles along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupiansk direction, our defenders repelled 12 enemy attacks in the areas near the settlements of Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Tabaivka, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian Forces repelled 10 attacks by occupiers near Terny, Yamolivka, and Verkhniokamyanske in the Donetsk region, and another 15 attacks in the areas of Serebrianske Forestry Area and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Defense Forces repelled 4 enemy attacks near Ivanivske, Andriivka, and Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to restrain the enemy, which persists in trying to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers hold the defense steadfastly, inflicting significant losses on the occupiers.

During the past day, the defense forces repelled 14 attacks by invaders in the Avdiivka area and another 19 attacks south of Tonenke, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.

In the Maryinka direction, Ukrainian soldiers continued to restrain the enemy near Heorhiivka, Maryinka, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where 12 attacks were repelled.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, our defenders repelled an enemy attack south of Zolota Nyva in the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 3 attacks by the enemy west of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces continue to expand their foothold. Despite significant losses, the enemy does not cease attempts to dislodge our units from their positions. Over the past day, the adversary made 10 unsuccessful attempts to storm the positions of our troops.

At the same time, Ukrainian soldiers, through active actions, inflicted losses on the occupation forces in manpower and equipment, wearing down the enemy along the entire front line.

Enemy losses

During the last day, the aviation of the Defense Forces struck at one concentration area of enemy personnel.

Missile troops units targeted 4 enemy artillery pieces.

The total number of losses in the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 374,520 military personnel.
