Ukrainian Forces repelled 13 enemy attacks in the Maryinka direction and are expanding their foothold in the Kherson direction. Missile units targeted two enemy personnel concentration areas, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian shelling

Over the past day, there were 64 clashes. In total, the enemy conducted 3 airstrikes and carried out 16 shelling attacks with multiple rocket launcher systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas.

As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Residential buildings, a vocational school, and other civilian infrastructure have suffered destruction and damage.

Aviation strikes targeted:

  • Siversk, Donetsk region;

  • Tiahynka, Darivka, Kherson region.

More than 130 populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.

Frontline situation

In the Volyn and Polissya directions, the operational situation remains relatively unchanged.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the adversary maintains a military presence in border areas, actively engaging in sabotage activities to prevent the transfer of Ukrainian Forces to critical directions, and increases the density of mine-explosive obstacles along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 2 enemy attacks near Synkivka in the Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, our defenders successfully repelled 6 enemy attacks in the areas of Makiivka in the Luhansk region and east of Terniv in the Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, our forces repelled an enemy attack near Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to restrain the enemy, which persists in attempting to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers hold the defense steadfastly, inflicting significant losses on the aggressors.

During the past day, the Defense Forces repelled 10 enemy attacks near Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, and Avdiivka, and another 17 attacks near Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.

In the Maryinka direction, Ukrainian Forces continue to hold back the occupiers in the areas of Heorhiivka, Maryinka, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where 13 attacks were repelled.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy did not engage in offensive (assault) actions.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defense Forces repelled 3 enemy attacks west of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson direction, Ukrainian defenders continue their efforts to expand the foothold. Despite significant losses, the enemy persists in attempting to dislodge our units from their positions. Over the past day, the enemy carried out 3 unsuccessful assault actions against the positions of the Defense Forces.

At the same time, our soldiers continue actively inflicting losses on the occupation forces in personnel and equipment, exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.

Enemy losses

During the day, the Defense Forces aviation struck 2 areas of enemy personnel concentration.

Missile troops units targeted 2 areas of enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment concentration, as well as a command post and an ammunition depot.

The total number of losses in the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 367,620 military personnel.
