Russian shelling

The Russian Federation continues its aggressive war. Despite significant losses, it refuses to abandon plans for the complete occupation of Ukraine. The adversary continues to disregard laws and norms of war, employing terror tactics, striking military and civilian objects.

The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains challenging. Over the past day, there have been 73 combat engagements.

The enemy launched 10 rockets and conducted 46 shelling incidents from multiple-launch rocket systems targeting our troops' positions and civilian settlements. Unfortunately, due to Russian terrorist attacks, there have been casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Private residential houses and other civilian infrastructure have been damaged and destroyed.

Frontline situation

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains unchanged with no significant developments observed in the formation of offensive groups. Identified Belarusian Armed Forces units are fulfilling tasks in the border areas adjacent to Ukraine.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the adversary maintains military presence in border areas, conducts reconnaissance and sabotage activities, fires on populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the Ukrainian state border.

Approximately 15 populated areas, including Klusy in the Chernihiv region; Znob-Novhorodske, Popivka, Porokhoni in the Sumy region; Okhrymivka, Vovchansk, Budarky, Pletenivka in the Kharkiv region, were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled two enemy attacks near Synkivka in the Kharkiv region. Around 10 populated areas, including Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Berestove in the Kharkiv region, were under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lymansk direction, defense forces repelled eight enemy attacks in the areas of Spirne and Vesele in the Donetsk region. Over 10 populated areas, including Nevske, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Torske, Serebrianka, Verkhniokamianske, Spyrne, Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region, suffered from enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Bakhmut direction, defense forces repelled 13 enemy attacks in the areas of Bohdanivka, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, and Pivnichne in the Donetsk region. Nearly 10 populated areas, including Markove, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, New York in the Donetsk region, were under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 36 enemy attacks in areas east of Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, south of Severne, south of Tonenke, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region, where the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to breach the defense of our troops.

Over 10 populated areas, including Stepove, Avdiivka, Karlivka, Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region, suffered from enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In the Maryinka direction, defense forces continue to hold the line in the areas of Mariinka, Krasnohorivka, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where the enemy conducted 12 unsuccessful attacks on our defenders' positions.

Under the enemy's artillery and mortar fire were Georgiivka, Kostiantynivka, Maryinka, Pobeda, Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations. Nearly 10 populated areas, including Vuhledar, Zolota Nyva, and Urozhaine in the Donetsk region, were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, defense forces repelled three enemy attacks in the areas north of Pryiutne and west of Novopokrovka in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Over 20 populated areas, including Levadne, Malynivka, Huliaipole, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne, Kamianske in the Zaporizhzhia region, suffered from enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Kherson direction, the enemy conducted artillery shelling on Antonivka in the Kherson region and the city of Kherson.

Advance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

Ukrainian defense forces continue to hold positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region and continue to inflict fire damage on Russian occupiers.

The losses of the enemy

During the day, the defense forces' aviation conducted 2 strikes on areas where the enemy's personnel, armaments, and military equipment were concentrated.

Missile troops inflicted damage on two areas concentrated with enemy personnel, armaments, and military equipment, targeting 1 ammunition depot, 1 command post, and 1 artillery unit of the enemy.

The total number of losses in the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion amounts to 339,850 military personnel.
