Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of Monday morning, December 11, amounted to 1,030 occupiers, bringing the total casualties of the Russian army since the invasion to 339,850 military personnel. Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 19 Russian tanks, 18 UAVs, and 31 armored vehicles, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The overall Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022 to December 11, 2023 are estimated as follows:

  • Personnel: About 339,850 (+1,030) individuals.
  • Tanks: 5,655 (+19) units.
  • Armored personnel vehicles (APV): 10,560 (+31) units.
  • Artillery systems: 8,070 (+6) units.
  • Multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS): 919 units.
  • Anti-aircraft warfare systems: 605 units.
  • Aircraft: 324 units.
  • Helicopters: 324 units.
  • UAV operational-tactical level: 6,154 (+18) units.
  • Cruise missiles: 1,586 units.
  • Warships/boats: 22 units.
  • Submarines: 1 unit.
  • Vehicles and fuel tanks: 10,636 (+13) units.
  • Special equipment: 1,168 (+6) units.

Frontline situation

According to the data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the morning of December 11, Ukrainian forces repelled 49 enemy attacks in the Avdiivka direction, maintained positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River, and destroyed the enemy's ammunition depot. Specifically, as clarified by the Institute of Study of War, Ukrainian forces hold positions on the eastern bank of the Dnipro River. According to preliminary information, the Ukrainian Armed Forces now control the entire island of Velykyi Potiomkin (southwest of Kherson).
