The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive operation in the Bakhmut direction. During the day, 43 combat clashes occurred, according to the data of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian shelling

During the day, there were 43 combat clashes. In total, the enemy launched 4 missile strikes and 59 airstrikes, carried out 36 artillery shelling from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and civilian areas.

In addition, Russian occupiers launched another missile and aviation strike on Ukraine, using 3 guided aviation missiles X-59 and 20 strike UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type. Three missiles and 18 strike UAVs were destroyed by air defense means.

Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have been damaged and destroyed. Unfortunately, there are civilian casualties.

The situation on the fronts

The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains challenging.

On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, there have been no significant changes in the operational situation. There are no signs of the enemy forming offensive groups. Identified units of the Belarusian Armed Forces are performing tasks in border areas with Ukraine.

On the Siversk and Slobozhanske fronts, the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, fires upon residential areas from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine. More than 10 populated areas, including Progres, Chuikivka, Hlyshivske, Pavlivka, Stepok in the Sumy region; Borysivka, Vovchansk, Okhrimivka, Stroiivka in the Kharkiv region, have suffered artillery and mortar shelling.

On the Kupiansk front, the enemy conducted unsuccessful storming actions near Synkivka, Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region, and Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region, where our troops repelled 8 attacks. The enemy carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Petropavlivka, Kupiansk, Kurylivka, Stepova Novoselivka, and Cherneshchyna in the Kharkiv region. Dvorichna, Masiutivka, Synkivka, Ivanivka, Kyslivka, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.

On the Lyman front, the enemy did not engage in offensive (assault) actions. They conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Serebrianske forestry, Vyiimka, Spirne, and Veseloye in the Donetsk region. More than 10 populated areas, including Nevskoye, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Torske, Serebrianka, Spyrne, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region, suffered from enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

On the Bakhmut front, the occupiers made 10 unsuccessful attempts to regain lost positions near Klyshchiivka and Andriivka in the Donetsk region. The enemy also engaged in unsuccessful storming actions near the southern Donetsk region. They carried out aviation strikes near Ivanivka in the Donetsk region. More than 15 populated areas, including Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Markove, Klishchiivka, Predtechyn, Bila Hora, and Shcherbylivka in the Donetsk region, were subjected to artillery and mortar fire.

On the Avdiivka front, the enemy conducted unsuccessful storming actions near Severne and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region. Here, the Defense Forces repelled 5 attacks. Additionally, the enemy delivered aviation strikes in the areas of Kalynove, Novooleksandrivka, Semenivka, Orlivka, Lastochkyne, and Avdiivka in the Donetsk region. Artillery and mortar shelling affected nearly 15 populated areas, including Oleksandrivka, Keramik, Lastochkyne, Avdiivka, Tonenke, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region.

On the Maryinka front, the enemy conducted unsuccessful storming actions in the areas of Maryinka in the Donetsk region, where our defense forces repelled 16 attacks. The enemy also carried out an aviation strike in the area of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Nearly 10 populated areas in the Donetsk region, including Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Maryinka, Pobeda, and Novomykhailivka, came under artillery and mortar fire.

On the Shakhtarsk front, the enemy conducted unsuccessful storming actions near Staromaiorske in the Donetsk region. About 10 populated areas, including Vodianе, Bohoiavlеnka, Prеchyѕtivka, Zolota Nyva, and Blahodatnе in the Donetsk region, suffered from enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, the enemy did not engage in offensive (assault) actions. They carried out aviation strikes near Novoselivka, Novodanylіvka, and Robotynе in the Zaporizhzhia region. More than 20 populated areas, including Poltavka, Huliaipolе, Charivnе, Orikhiv, Mali Shcherbaky, and Kamianets in the Zaporizhzhia region, were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar fire.

On the Kherson front, the occupiers conducted aviation strikes in the areas of the populated places Beryslav, Kozatske, and Lvove in the Kherson region. Enemy artillery shelling affected populated areas of Tomarine, Zmiivka, Beryslav, Mylove in the Kherson region; Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv region, and Hrushivka in the Dnipro region.

Advance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive operation on the Melitopol front, launching offensive actions on the Bakhmut front, inflicting losses on the occupying forces in personnel and equipment, and exhausting the enemy along the entire frontline.

Enemy losses

Over the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces conducted 9 strikes on the areas with a concentration of personnel, weaponry, and military equipment, and 3 strikes on the enemy's anti-aircraft missile complexes.

Missile troops units struck 5 radar stations, 2 command posts, 3 anti-aircraft missile complexes, and 11 artillery systems of the enemy.
