Ukrainian soldiers continue their offensive operations in the Melitopol direction and conduct assault actions in the Bakhmut direction, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian shelling

Over the day, there have been 45 clashes.

Russian terrorists carried out a total of 14 air strikes and conducted 12 artillery shellings on the positions of Ukrainian soldiers. There are civilian casualties and fatalities. Private residential houses and other civilian infrastructure have been damaged or destroyed.

Frontline situation

The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains complex.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, there have been no significant changes in the operational situation. There are no signs of the formation of offensive groups. Belarusian armed forces units are operating in border areas with Ukraine.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, continues subversive and reconnaissance activities, and carries out shelling of settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation. The density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine is increasing. Nova Huta, Volfyne, and Pozhnia in the Sumy region have experienced artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Kupiansk direction, the occupiers conducted unsuccessful assault actions in the areas of Synkivka and Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region. Artillery and mortar shelling affected Dvorichna, Synkivka, Ivanivka, Kyslivka, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, the invaders did not conduct offensive (assault) actions and continued troop repositioning. Nevske, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Siversk, Spirne in the Donetsk region came under artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 4 enemy attacks in the areas of Bohdanivka and Khromove in the Donetsk region. The enemy also attempted to regain lost positions near Klishchiivka and Andriivka, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 7 attacks. Approximately 15 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault actions in the areas of Stepove, Avdiivka, Tonenke, and Severne in the Donetsk region, where the defense forces repelled 14 attacks. More than 10 settlements were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Maryinka direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault actions with air support in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian soldiers repelled 13 enemy attacks. Nearly 10 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy maintains a military presence and carries out troop repositioning. They also conducted an aerial strike in the area of Staromaiorske in the Donetsk region. Around 10 settlements were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy did not engage in offensive (assault) actions and continued troop repositioning. More than 20 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Kherson direction, the occupiers conducted airstrikes in the areas of Odradokamianka, Mykolaivka, Olhivka, Tiahynka, and Ivanivka in the Kherson region. Lvove, Tiahynka, and Mykilske experienced enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

Advance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

The Ukrainian forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, advance in the Bakhmut direction, inflicting losses on the occupying forces in terms of personnel and equipment, and exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.

Enemy losses

During the day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted an airstrike on the area of concentration of personnel, equipment, and military vehicles, and another one on the enemy's anti-aircraft missile system.
