Ukrainian troops continue to advance in the Bakhmut and Melitopol directions, destroying the enemy's electronic warfare station and repelling over 10 attacks by Russian forces near Maryinka, according to data from the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Russian attacks

Today, the Russian Federation conducted another massive aerial strike using Iranian combat UAVs Shahed-136/131 in the Odesa and Sumy regions. The primary focus of the attack was on port infrastructure in the cities of Izmail and Reni in the Odesa region.

Air defenses successfully destroyed 34 out of 45 enemy Shaheds. In total, within a day, the enemy launched 1 missile and conducted 80 aerial strikes, along with 32 artillery shelling on the positions of our troops and civilian areas. Unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population as a result of Russian terrorist attacks.

The attacks have caused damage to port infrastructure, private residential buildings, and other civilian infrastructure.

Frontline situation

During the past day, there were 24 clashes on the fronts. The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains challenging.

In the Volyn and Polissya directions, the operational situation remains unchanged, with no significant changes. There are no signs of the enemy forming offensive groups. Identified units of the Belarusian Armed Forces continue to carry out tasks in border regions with Ukraine.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, continues shelling of populated areas from Russian territory, and unsuccessfully attempts armed provocations by violating Ukraine's state border.

Aircraft conducted strikes near Morokhovtsi and Pletenivka in the Kharkiv region and Stepok in the Sumy region. Artillery and mortar shelling affected over 30 populated areas, including Karpovychi, Hremiachka, and Osove in the Chernihiv region, as well as Yastrubine, Sadky, and Velyka Pysarivka in the Sumy region, and Ohirkeve, Zybune in the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled an enemy attack northeast of Berestove in the Kharkiv region.

The enemy conducted aviation strikes near Petropavlivka and Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region and Novoselivka in the Luhansk region. Artillery and mortar shelling affected Fiholivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Synkivka, Kyslivka, and Kotliarivka in the Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations but continued troop redeployment. Aviation strikes targeted Novoiehorivka and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Siversk and Spirne in the Donetsk region.

Over 20 populated areas suffered artillery and mortar shelling, including Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Zarychne, Verkhniokamyanske, Spirne, Vesele, Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy attempted to regain lost ground in the area of Bohdanivka in the Donetsk region. Enemy aviation strikes affected Kurdiumivka and Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region.

Artillery and mortar shelling hit around 20 populated areas, including Vasiukivka, Zaliznianske, Minkivka, Orihovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, artillery and mortar shelling targeted Keramik, Ocheretyne, Stepove, Avdiivka, Lastochkyne, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region.

In the Maryinka direction, during the day, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled over 10 enemy attacks in the Maryinka area. The enemy conducted an aviation strike near Krasnohorivka.

Approximately 10 populated areas suffered artillery and mortar shelling, including Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, Kostiantynivka, and Yelyzavetivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, enemy aviation strikes targeted Prechystivka, Novomaiorske, and Urozhaine in the Donetsk region.

Approximately 10 populated areas, including Vodiane, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Novoukrainka, Zolota Nyva, and Urozhaine in the Donetsk region, were affected by artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, more than 15 populated areas, including Huliaypole, Orihiv, Robotyne, Stepove, Piatyhatky in the Zaporizhzhia region, and Nikopol in the Dnipro region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Kherson region, the enemy conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Odradokamianka and Prydniprovsk in the Kherson region. Artillery and mortar shelling affected Zmiivka, Odradokamianka, Antonivka, Kherson, and Tomyna Balka in the Kherson region.

Advance by the Ukrainian Armed Forces

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian defense forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, conducting assault actions on the Bakhmut front. They are successfully eliminating the enemy and gradually liberating occupied territories.

Losses of the enemy

During the day, Ukrainian aviation conducted 10 strikes on areas with the concentration of enemy personnel and military equipment and 2 strikes on the enemy's anti-aircraft missile systems.

Rocket troops units hit 1 command post, 1 anti-aircraft missile system, 10 artillery pieces, 2 ammunition depots, and the enemy's electronic warfare station.

The total number of losses in the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion amounts to 270,350 military personnel.
