Ukrainian soldiers continue to advance and have achieved some success in the Melitopol and Bakhmut directions. Additionally, the military managed to destroy one enemy anti-aircraft missile system, according to data from the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Russian shelling continues
The enemy continues to disregard the laws and customs of war, employing tactics of terror and conducting shelling on both military and civilian objects, resulting in unfortunate casualties and injuries among the civilian population, as well as the destruction of residential buildings and other infrastructure.
In total, the enemy carried out 3 missile strikes and 25 airstrikes, along with 36 shelling incidents using reactive multiple-launch rocket systems against Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas.
Frontline situation
During the past 24 hours, more than 20 skirmishes have occurred. The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains challenging.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation has seen no significant changes.
In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Popivka, Stepok, Myropillia, and Hrabovske in the Sumy region.
Over 20 populated areas, including Hremiach and Kamin in the Chernihiv region, Stepne, Popivka, Hrabovske, Velyka Pysarivka in the Sumy region, and Kozacha Lopan, Hatysche, Vovchansk, Vovchansk Hutori, Odradne in the Kharkiv region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy conducted aviation strikes in the Kyslivka area of the Kharkiv region. Populated areas such as Dvorichna, Berestove, Synkivka, and Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region were affected by artillery and mortar fire.
In the Lyman direction, Nadia and Dibrova in the Luhansk region, and Sbirne in the Donetsk region were subjected to aviation strikes.
Over 10 populated areas, including Biloheorivka in the Luhansk region and Verkhniokamianske, Sbirne in the Donetsk region, were affected by artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled enemy attacks in the Orikhovo-Vasylivka area of the Donetsk region. Aviation strikes targeted Klyshchiivka and Pivnichne in the Donetsk region.
Over 10 populated areas, including Ivanivske, Klyshchiivka, Andriivka, and New York in the Donetsk region, were under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled around 10 enemy attacks in the Avdiivka area of the Donetsk region. Populated areas like Novokalynove, Stepove, Avdiivka, Sevorne, and Tonenke in the Donetsk region were affected by artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Maryinka direction, Ukrainian troops faced over 10 enemy attacks in the Maryinka area.
Artillery and mortar fire affected over 10 populated areas, including Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Heorhiivka, Pobieda, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, all enemy attacks in the Novomykhailivka area were successfully repelled. Artillery and mortar fire affected around 10 populated areas, including Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, and Urozhaine in the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Ukrainian troops repelled enemy attacks south of Novodarivka in the Zaporizhzhia region. An aviation strike occurred near Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Artillery and mortar fire affected 15 populated areas, including Malynivka, Chervone, Huliapole, Charivne, Robotyne, and Kamianske in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson direction, the enemy conducted an aviation strike in the Odradokamianka area of the Kherson region. Artillery and mortar fire affected Antonivka, Kherson, and Bilozirka in the Kherson region.
Ukrainian counteroffensive
At the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their offensive operations in the Melitopol and Bakhmut directions, conducting assault actions to eliminate the enemy and gradually liberate the occupied territories.
As a result of these assault operations, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have achieved partial success in the areas of Klyshchiivka in the Donetsk region and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region. They are displacing the enemy from their positions and consolidating their gains.
Enemy losses
During the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Air Force conducted 8 strikes on enemy personnel, equipment, and military hardware concentration areas.
Units of the Rocket Forces struck 2 artillery pieces, 1 ammunition depot, 1 command post, and 1 anti-aircraft missile complex belonging to the enemy.
It should be noted that on the last day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated 550 more aggressors, and destroyed 8 tanks, 33 artillery systems, and 17 enemy drones.
