Over the past day, the enemy delivered 1 missile and 31 airstrikes, conducting 52 artillery barrages from multiple rocket launch systems on our forces' positions and populated areas.

As a result of these Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have been damaged.

The likelihood of missile and aerial strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

Frontline situation update

During the day, 25 clashes took place.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains largely unchanged.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy conducted mortar and artillery shelling on more than 20 populated areas, including Sosnivka in the Chernihiv region, Seredyna-Buda, Romashkove, Shalyhyne, Nova Sloboda in the Sumy region, and Vovchansk, Khrypuny, Karaiichne, Mala Vovcha, Budarky in the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy carried out an aviation strike in the Kotliarivka area of the Kharkiv region. Enemy artillery and mortar shelling affected settlements such as Borova, Kupiansk, and Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Cherneschyna in the Kharkiv region, Novoiehorivka, and Bilihorivka in the Luhansk region.

Over 10 populated areas were affected by enemy artillery shelling, including Nevske, Bilihorivka in the Luhansk region, and Rozdolivka, Verkhniokamianske, and Fedorivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Bila Hora and New York in the Donetsk region.

More than 15 populated areas suffered from enemy artillery shelling, including Minkivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, and Pivnichne in the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy delivered artillery and mortar strikes on populated areas such as Oleksandropil, Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Sevorne, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region.

In the Maryinka direction, defense forces continue to repel Russian troop advances in the Maryinka area of the Donetsk region. The enemy's unsuccessful offensive actions took place in the Novomykhailivka area.

An aviation strike was launched in the Krasnohorivka area. Settlements such as Krasnohorivka, Pobieda, Maryinka, Kurakhove, Novomykhailivka, and Katerynivka in the Donetsk region experienced artillery shelling.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Vuhledar and Staromaiorske in the Donetsk region.

Populated areas like Vodianе, Bohoiavlenska, Prechystivka, Blahodatne, and Urozhaine in the Donetsk region were affected by enemy artillery shelling.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy delivered aviation strikes in the areas of Novodanilivka, Robotynе, and Orikhove in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Over 15 populated areas suffered from enemy artillery shelling, including Novodarivka, Olhivske, Chervone, Huliaipole, Lobkove, and Plavne in the Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson direction, the enemy shelled settlements like Stanislav, Veletenske, and Antonivka in the Kherson region using artillery and mortars.

Advancement of Ukrainian forces

Meanwhile, Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, solidifying gained positions and undertaking counter-battery measures.

Enemy losses

Defensive aviation executed 12 strikes on personnel concentration areas and 4 on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems during the day.

Rocket troops and artillery units hit one artillery piece in firing position and two enemy radar stations over the course of the day.

The total casualties of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion amount to 261,840 military personnel.
