After operations by the Ukrainian Defense Forces involving maritime drones, Russian forces are gathering wreckage and fragments of this equipment for study and reconstruction, states Andrii Yusov, representative of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.

The military intelligence representative confirmed that there are documented instances of such actions by the adversary following each operation involving Ukrainian maritime drones.

"However, today we can state that neither industrial espionage nor such activities have allowed the aggressor to approach the development level of maritime unmanned systems possessed by Ukraine," emphasized Yusov.

According to him, Ukraine currently significantly outpaces the aggressor in this matter.

Naval drones of the Defence Intelligence

According to a recent study by the Polish edition Political Science and Security Studies Journal, the Ukrainian drone Magura V5 has destroyed most Russian ships during the war.

Previously, the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that when selecting targets for the Magura drones, they consider any objects within an 800-kilometer radius.

Additionally, the Defence Intelligence confirmed that these maritime drones are equipped with R-73 missiles, which have already proven effective. They notably deprived Russian forces of dominance in the Black Sea.

Regarding the Sea of Azov, intelligence officers do not exclude the possibility that the Magura drones could also be deployed in this area.
