Russia plans to launch attacks on Ukraine up to 7 times a month, and each such attack involves at least 400 drones and 20 missiles, according to intelligence data, says Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha at the Antalya Diplomatic Forum.
Russia's plans
According to our intelligence, Russia is preparing for massive attacks in the near future.
"In our reality, a massive attack means at least 400 drones combined with at least 20 missiles. And they are preparing to attack us, according to intelligence data, seven times a month," Sybiha says.
Seven massive strikes per month is one strike every 4 days. Until now, Russia had carried out such attacks approximately once every 8–10 days, and sometimes the intervals between strikes were even longer. At that time, Russian forces preferred drone attacks.
The US has begun delaying arms deliveries to the European Union, and thus to Ukraine as well.
The reason is that US stockpiles have been depleted due to the prolonged war with Iran. The delays affect contracts that have already been signed and paid for.
Meanwhile, Russia continues to strike Ukraine. On the morning of April 17, Russia attacked the Chernihiv Thermal Power Plant. Strikes also targeted civilian infrastructure in Dnipro and the surrounding region.
