The United States has reduced supplies of Patriot interceptor missiles to Ukraine, giving Russian forces an opportunity to intensify their ballistic missile attacks, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

The president noted that Ukraine was negotiating with European partners to obtain interceptor missiles. However, the United States' approval is required.
"I have agreements with the Europeans, and those agreements still stand. But the Europeans can only hand over the missiles when the US side accepts that," Zelenskyy said.

According to the president, Ukraine has already received some of the missiles. However, it's essential that the remaining assistance arrive as soon as possible.
RBC-Ukraine previously reported that Russia deliberately struck central Kyiv with cluster munitions in a ballistic missile attack. The strike damaged the capital's historic center, between the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and the Holy Presentation Monastery, Zelenskyy said.
In addition, Moscow has already identified its priorities for further attacks on Ukrainians in the coming weeks. The president says Russia takes advantage of delays in air defense deliveries from Ukraine's partners.
