Tonight, Russian terrorists engaged in conscious terror against Ukraine on the night of the Holodomor Victims Memorial Day. Russia takes pride in its ability to kill, says President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on his Telegram.

"More than 70 Shaheds on the night of the Holodomor Victims Memorial Day. Conscious terror. Precisely at this time. The leadership of Russia takes pride in its ability to kill. Our soldiers shot down most of the drones. Unfortunately, not all," said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to the President, Ukraine will continue to strengthen its air defense and unite the world in defense against Russian terror.

"The terrorist state must lose and be held accountable for what it has done," added the President.

Night attack on Kyiv

On the night of November 25, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv. Kyiv City Military Administration warned of an attack by Russian drones and urged residents not to ignore the air raid alarm.

Closer to morning, explosions were heard in the capital. Local authorities reported the operation of air defense, and the Air Force warned of the risk of kamikaze drone attacks on Kyiv from several directions.

As Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko explained, five people, including an 11-year-old child, were injured in Kyiv as a result of the night attack.

According to the Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mykola Oleshchuk, 71 drones were destroyed tonight. The enemy used 75 drones, which set a record for the largest number since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. The main direction of the attack was Kyiv.
