Russia struck critical infrastructure in Lviv region: Overnight attack review

On the night of June 29, Russia once again launched a massive attack on Ukraine. A series of explosions was heard by residents of Lviv.
This was reported by the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, according to his statement.
According to the official, on the night of June 29, Russian forces attacked the Lviv region with combat drones and cruise missiles.
Russia targeted critical infrastructure in the Lviv region. All relevant emergency services are currently working at the scene.
Preliminary reports indicate there were no casualties or injuries.
The head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, said that more information about the consequences of the attack would be released later.

At 1:47 AM Kyiv time, the Air Force reported that Russian drones were heading toward Lviv.
At 1:55 AM Kyiv time, Kozytskyi announced that air defense systems were operating in the region. He urged residents not to film or post anything online to avoid assisting Russian forces.
At 2:16 AM Kyiv time, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi said that all Shahed drones had bypassed Lviv at that time, but urged residents to remain in shelters due to the ongoing large-scale attack on western Ukraine.
At 2:56 AM Kyiv time, Sadovyi confirmed that a Shahed drone had entered Lviv’s airspace. A series of explosions followed.
At 3:01 AM Kyiv time, Kozytskyi urged people to stay away from windows.
Explosions were again heard in Lviv at 3:39 AM, 3:58 AM, and 4:08 AM Kyiv time.
At 4:27 AM Kyiv time, the Air Force reported that cruise missiles were heading toward the Lviv region. Kozytskyi noted a threat to Lviv, Mykolaiv (Lviv region), and Zolochiv.
The air raid alert was lifted at 5:05 AM Kyiv time.
At 6:03 AM Kyiv time, Mayor Sadovyi reported that the citywide inspection had been completed. He stated that Russian forces attempted to strike critical infrastructure, but no civilians or residential buildings were affected.
Sadovyi thanked air defense units, saying that despite the complexity of the combined overnight attack, Lviv stood firm.

On the night of June 29, a nationwide air raid alert was declared across Ukraine. The Air Force reported the launch of numerous drones and warned of the takeoff of MiG-31K aircraft from the Savasleyka airfield.
Russian forces were among the first to attack Kremenchuk in the Poltava region. The city was targeted simultaneously with cruise missiles, Kinzhal missiles, and Shahed drones.
