On the night of June 29, Russia launched a combined strike on Kremenchuk. The city came under a mixed attack involving both missiles and drones, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

On the night of June 29, Russian forces launched a powerful combined strike on Kremenchuk in the Poltava region. The city was attacked simultaneously with cruise missiles, Kinzhal hypersonic missiles, and Shahed attack drones.

Around 2:15 AM Kyiv time, the Ukrainian Air Force detected the movement of Kinzhals and cruise missiles heading toward Kremenchuk.

Just a few minutes later, around 2:20 AM Kyiv time, correspondents from Suspilne reported multiple explosions in the city.

The Air Force also confirmed the threat of two more high-speed targets at 2:28 and 2:31 AM, heading toward Kremenchuk.

There is currently no official information about destruction or casualties.

At the same time, the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Kohut, wrote on social media that a facility in the Kremenchuk district was hit.

"Another massive combined enemy attack. Air defense was active in the Poltava region. Preliminary reports indicate that a facility in the Kremenchuk district was targeted. A fire broke out. State Emergency Service units are already working to eliminate the consequences. No casualties have been reported at this time. The threat remains! Stay in shelters until the air raid alert is lifted," the official statement said.

Attack on Kremenchuk

The previous large-scale combined attack on Kremenchuk took place on June 21. At that time, Russia damaged residential areas of the city and also struck energy facilities.

Meanwhile, the June 15 attack on Kremenchuk was described by the media as one of the most powerful on the city since the beginning of the full-scale war.

According to the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, the strikes targeted energy and agricultural infrastructure in the Kremenchuk community. The attack also damaged a private home, a passenger car, and a power line.
