Russia strikes Zaporizhzhia region: People trapped in high-rise
The Russian military launched several airstrikes on the Zaporizhzhia region overnight on November 12. As a result of the attack, people became trapped in a high-rise building, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
According to reports, explosions were heard at 4:15 AM (Kyiv time). Monitoring channels indicated enemy aviation activity at that time.
Later, at 6:19 AM, Fedorov confirmed that Russian aviation carried out the strikes.
"The Russians carried out several airstrikes, targeting residential areas in the Zaporizhzhia and Vasylivka regions," he wrote.
He added that two people were trapped in a high-rise building due to the attack. As of his update, a rescue operation was underway.
Fedorov also noted that the extent of the damage was still being assessed.
As a reminder, last night, Russia struck three times in Zaporizhzhia. One person was killed, and nine people were wounded in the attack. Among the injured were three children - 4, 15, and 17 years old.
