According to him, one person was killed and another injured as a result of the Russian strikes. A 33-year-old man was killed, while a 45-year-old man was wounded.

Overnight, Fedorov repeatedly warned about drone threats to the city of Zaporizhzhia, including in the Kosmichnyi, Khortytskyi, Dniprovskyi, and Zavodskyi districts.

Explosions were reported across the region during the night, with the regional governor confirming them shortly after 01:00 AM Kyiv time.

Strikes of Zaporizhzhia

Russian forces regularly attack Zaporizhzhia, with consequences varying from fatalities and injuries to damage to critical infrastructure, social facilities, and transport. Children have also been affected in some cases.

For example, in recent days the city was struck again, damaging infrastructure and leaving parts of Zaporizhzhia covered in smoke.

Earlier reports also described attacks on the city and region that caused blackouts. Like many regions of Ukraine, Zaporizhzhia has faced disruptions to electricity, water, and heating supplies this winter due to strikes.
