Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia once again during the night of June 18. As a result of the enemy strike, a fire has already broken out, states Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.

An air raid alert was declared in the region after midnight due to increased enemy activity in the airspace. Fedorov confirmed that air defense systems are active, and explosions were heard in Zaporizhzhia.

“A fire broke out at one of the enterprises as a result of the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia. Russian drones targeted the regional center,” Fedorov reported.

On the night of June 17, Russian forces launched a massive attack on Ukraine, hitting Kyiv, Odesa, and Zaporizhzhia.

Zaporizhzhia suffered at least four powerful strikes targeting several industrial facilities, causing fires. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but significant damage was recorded.

Among the affected were a dormitory building and a multi-story residential building. The blast wave shattered windows in more than 50 rooms.
