Russia strikes Ukraine with Zircon, ballistic and cruise missiles overnight

Last night, Russia launched a new massive attack on various regions of Ukraine, using dozens of missiles of various types, as well as hundreds of drones, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
Key feature of Russian massive attack on Ukraine
As explained by the Ukrainian Air Force, this involved the simultaneous use of various types of air attack weapons from different directions, as well as the use of a large number of ballistic and cruise missiles.
"The main targets of the strike were the Kyiv and Lviv regions," the Ukrainian defenders emphasize.
In addition, the Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Vinnytsia, Poltava, Mykolaiv, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions came under Russian attack.
What weapons Russia attacked Ukraine with on July 30
During this new strike, the enemy launched 358 air-attack weapons at Ukraine—74 missiles and 284 drones, specifically:
- 4 Zircon/Onyx anti-ship missiles (launch area: Kursk region, Russia)
- 9 Iskander-M/S-400/KN-23 ballistic missiles (launch areas: Bryansk, Voronezh, and Kursk regions of Russia)
- 61 Kh-101/Kalibr cruise missiles (launch area: Vologda region and Novorossiysk, Russia)
- 284 Shahed-type strike drones (including jet-powered ones), Gerbera, Italmas, and Parodiya-type decoy drones (from the following directions: Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, and Shatalovo, Russia).
Air forces, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were involved in destroying Russian missiles and drones.
Missiles and drones destroyed
According to preliminary data, as of 9 a.m., Ukrainian air defense forces were able to neutralize 320 targets, 55 missiles and 265 drones of various types:
- 1 Iskander-M/S-400/KN-23 ballistic missile
- 54 Kh-101/Kalibr cruise missiles
- 265 Russian drones of various types.
"According to preliminary information, as of 9 a.m., 3 anti-ship missiles, 6 ballistic missiles, and 2 cruise missiles, as well as 17 attack drones, were recorded at 20 locations, and debris from downed missiles was found at 13 locations," the Ukrainian Air Force states.
They also clarified that data regarding 8 additional missiles is currently being verified.
"Russian attack is ongoing! Several attack drones are in Ukrainian airspace," the Ukrainian defense forces warn Ukrainians.
Overnight, Russia launched a new massive attack on various regions of Ukraine.
Russian missiles struck Lviv: local authorities confirmed a large number of casualties.
An unidentified object also fell in Poland during Russia’s attack on Ukraine.
