Russia struck Ukraine with Oreshnik ballistic missile - Putin

Russia struck Ukrainian territory with the Oreshnik ballistic missile. This was its test, Russian President Vladimir Putin made this statement during an address to the Russian people.

Kremlin leader claimed that this was supposedly a response to the permission given by Western partners to Ukraine to strike Russian territory. He also stated, as usual, that there are allegedly no means in the world to counter Russian Oreshnik missiles.

ICC issues arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant

The International Criminal Court (ICC) rejected Israel's appeals challenging its jurisdiction over the situation in Palestine and issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.

The ICC issued arrest warrants for "crimes against humanity and war crimes committed from at least October 8, 2023 until at least May 20, 2024".

Russia amasses 1,500 missiles to strike Ukraine

Russia has launched a new campaign of attacks on the Ukrainian energy sector. Russia has more than 1,500 missiles in its arsenal due to increased production and a pause in shelling.

According to data obtained by RBC-Ukraine from informed sources, Russia has managed to accumulate a sufficient number of missiles with a range of more than 350 kilometers.

On its way to Ukraine: Canada's Defense Ministry confirms NASAMS delivery

Canadian Department of National Defense has confirmed the delivery of a NASAMS air defense system to Ukraine. The system is already in Poland, according to Canada's Minister of National Defense, Bill Blair.

"We have been working closely with the Americans and Raytheon, the manufacturer, to assemble and deliver this system. It is currently in Poland and will soon cross the border," Blair said.
