On the night of February 12, the Russian army launched 122 attack drones and ballistic missiles at Ukraine. Enemy targets were shot down with the help of aviation, reports the Ukraine's Air Force.

On the night of February 12, 2025, starting from 7:00 PM on February 11 (Kyiv time), the Russian army launched Iskander-M ballistic missiles at Kyiv and Kryvyi Rih. A total of six missiles were launched from the Bryansk region of Russia and one from occupied Crimea.

The enemy also attacked with 123 Shahed-type attack drones and other types of decoy drones from the following directions:

  • Millerovo;
  • Oryol;
  • Bryansk;
  • Kursk;
  • Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

Aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare systems, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine were deployed to counter the air attack.

As of 08:30 AM on February 12 (Kyiv time), six Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 71 Shahed-type attack drones were confirmed shot down in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions.

Additionally, 40 enemy decoy drones were lost in different locations without causing any damage.

As a result of the enemy attack, the Kyiv, Sumy, Poltava, and Chernihiv regions, as well as the city of Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region, suffered damage.

Night attack on Ukraine

Last night, the Russian army launched attack drones at Ukrainian territory. The Russians also used ballistic missiles from the northeast.

On the morning of February 12, Russia carried out a missile strike on Kyiv. As a result of the attack, two office buildings were damaged in the Obolonskyi district, with one catching fire. One fatality and four injuries, including a child, were reported.

A fire also broke out in the Kyiv region due to the Russian attack, damaging houses and cars.
