On the night of February 12, the Russians once again attacked the Kyiv region with drones and missiles. As a result of the attack, there was a fire, and houses and a car were damaged, according to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
"Ukrainian air defense forces were operating in the region. Russian targets were shot down. There were no preliminary casualties among the population. No critical infrastructure facilities were hit," the report said.
However, due to the Russian attack in the Obukhiv district, a fire was recorded in non-residential premises.
In addition, in the Boryspil district of the region, 9 private houses and a car were damaged by debris from downed Russian drones.
"Operational services continue to work to record and eliminate the consequences of the Russian attack. Detailed information will be provided later," Kyiv Regional Military Administration adds.
The National Police of Ukraine confirmed that as of 7 a.m. Kyiv time, 9 private houses were damaged in one of the regions. However, they clarified that two cars, not one, and an outbuilding were damaged due to the Russian attack.
"A warehouse caught fire in another area of the region. There is currently no information about the victims," the police added.
Russian missile attack on Kyiv
Kyiv suffered the most this morning, as Russia's main efforts to attack with ballistic missiles were focused on the capital.
As a result of the Russian strikes, missile fragments were recorded falling in several areas of Kyiv, there were also fires, one person was killed and several people were injured.
