Russia strikes Ukraine with ballistic missile and 126 drones overnight

Russian troops launched a ballistic missile and more than a hundred drones over Ukraine at night. Most Russian targets were eliminated by the Ukrainian Air Force's air defense forces.

"On the night of February 18, Russia attacked Ukraine with one Iskander-M ballistic missile from the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea, as well as 126 Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas strike drones and other types of drones from various directions, about 80 of which were Shahed, Italmas, and other types of drones from different directions, about 80 of which were Shaheds," the Ukrainian Air Force reports.
Russian attack was repelled at night by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 8:30 a.m. Kyiv time, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down or suppressed 100 Russian Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other drone types in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
At the same time, a ballistic missile and 23 strike drones were recorded hitting 14 locations, as well as falling in three places.
"Russian attack continues, with several Russian drones in the airspace. Follow the safety rules," the Air Force adds.
Massive Russian strikes on Ukraine
Russian troops attack Ukraine every night, using strike drones and various types of missiles, including ballistic missiles.
Yesterday, February 17, Russian troops carried out another massive attack on Ukraine's infrastructure with strike drones, strategic aviation, and cruise missiles. Several regions were hit.
Explosions were heard in Odesa, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Burshtyn, Zaporizhzhia, and other cities.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russians launched 29 different missiles and 396 drones at Ukraine. Four ballistic missiles and 18 drones were recorded as having hit their targets. According to preliminary data as of 9:30 a.m., Ukrainian air defense forces shot down or suppressed 392 air targets.
