Russia strikes Ukraine with 86 drones overnight: Air defense's work reported

On the night of June 19-20, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with Shahed-type attack drones flying from 6 directions. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 70 Russian drones.
"On the night of June 20 (from 11 p.m. Kyiv time on June 19), Russia attacked Ukraine with 86 Shahed-type drones and various types of imitator drones from the directions of: Millerovo, Kursk, Orel, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), Chauda (Crimea). Russian air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces," the Air Force says.
As of 8 a.m. Kyiv time, Ukrainian air defense has neutralized 70 Russian Shahed drones and other types of drones in the north, east, and south of Ukraine. In particular, 34 drones were shot down by firepower, 36 were lost locally or suppressed by electronic warfare.
Russian air strikes were also recorded in 8 locations, as well as the fall of downed kamikaze drones or their wreckage in 11 locations.
Russian strikes on Odesa on the night of June 20
Last night, June 20, Odesa came under Russian attack. Russian strikes damaged civilian infrastructure and caused a fire in one of the buildings.
As a result of the Russian strikes, large-scale fires broke out in the city. In particular, a 4-storey building was engulfed in flames. Emergency workers rescued 3 people from the scene and evacuated 6 others.
During the rescue operations, structures collapsed on the rescuers. 3 firefighters were injured, they are in the hospital, and their condition is stable.
A 23-storey residential building was also damaged. In particular, the 18th, 19th, and 20th floors caught fire. 600 people were evacuated from the building, and three people were rescued from a blocked apartment. 2 of them are children.
