Russia strikes Ukraine with 80 drones and 4 missiles overnight: Air defense's work reported

On the night of June 2, Russia strikes Ukraine with 80 drones and 4 missiles, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russia struck Ukraine with:
- 80 Shahed attack drones and various types of imitator drones from the directions of the Russian cities of Kursk, Orel, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk;
- 3 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from the Voronezh region of Russia;
- 1 Iskander-K cruise missile from Bryansk region.
Russia struck the Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Donetsk, and Kherson regions.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and unmanned systems, mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were involved in repelling the Russian air attack.
As of 8:30 a.m. Kyiv time, Ukraine's air defense system neutralized 52 Russian air attack vehicles in the east, south, and north. Among the neutralized objects:
- 15 were shot down by fire;
- 37 were locally lost or suppressed by electronic warfare.
"Russian air strikes were recorded in 12 locations," the Ukrainian Air Force adds.

Russian troops strike Ukraine with drones every night. For example, on the night of June 1, Russia launched a record 472 drones.
