Russian strikes on Kyiv
On the night of January 5, air raid alerts were repeatedly declared in Kyiv and most regions of Ukraine. The reasons were Russian drone attacks, the threat of ballistic missiles, and 2 MiG-31K takeoffs, which led to two large-scale alerts in the country.
The night was tense for Kyiv and did not pass without consequences. In the Obolonskyi district, a private medical facility was damaged as a result of a Russian drone attack, leading to the evacuation of patients.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy later responded to the incident, stressing that Ukraine's partners should not forget that air defense is needed every day.
Also, tonight in Kyiv and a number of regions, an alarm was sounded due to the threat of a ballistic strike.
