Russia strikes Ukraine with 37 drones and 2 ballistic missiles overnight

Russian troops attacked Ukraine with Iskander-M ballistic missiles and kamikaze drones tonight, July 29. Most of the drones were destroyed by air defense forces, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
"On the night of July 29, Russia attacked Ukraine with 2 Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Rostov region of Russia, the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea, 37 Shahed-type drones and dummy drones," the Ukrainian Air Force says.
Russia launched drones from Orel, Kursk, and Hvardiiske, Crimea.
Russian air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
"According to preliminary data, as of 9 a.m. Kyiv time, air defense forces shot down or suppressed 32 Russian Shahed-type drones and other types of drones in the north and east of Ukraine," the Ukrainian Air Force adds.
Five drones and two missiles were recorded hitting three locations, and debris fell on two locations.
