Russia strikes Ukraine's Kamianske with missiles: Hospital damaged, casualties reported

Russia launched a missile strike on the city of Kamianske in the Dnipropetrovsk region at night. A maternity hospital was damaged, and two people were killed, according to the mayor of Kamianske, Andrii Bilousov, and the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.
Lysak notes that the Russian attack partially destroyed a three-story building that was not in use.
However, the maternity hospital and a ward of the city hospital were damaged next to it.
"Two people were killed. Five more were injured. Two women are in severe condition. One of them is pregnant. Three patients are in moderate condition,” Lysak says.
Kamianske Mayor Bilousov specifies that the maternity and therapeutic wards of the 9th hospital were significantly damaged.
"The roofs of the buildings were damaged, and all the windows were broken. Several cars in the hospital parking lot were destroyed by fire. All patients were transferred to other medical facilities. The windows of the dermatological and venereological clinic and the children's polyclinic were also broken," the mayor says.
He also adds that almost all the windows were shattered and the doorways were torn out at Lyceums No. 31 and No. 11.
Gymnasium No. 8 and kindergarten No. 2 were also damaged. The housing stock was affected, with 49 houses damaged and more than 300 windows broken.
"Due to the closure of Vidrodzhennia Avenue, buses No. 7 and No. 8 will run on a modified route along Taras Shevchenko Avenue," Bilousov adds.
Russian attacks on Nikopol
In addition, Lysak reports that Russians struck other areas of the Dnipropetrovsk region during the night.
In particular, the Marhanets and Pokrovske communities and the city of Nikopol were shelled with artillery and drones.
As a result of the Russian attacks, cars were damaged, as well as five private houses and two farm buildings.
According to updated data, three more private houses, two farm buildings, and a garage were damaged during the Russian evening attacks on Nikopol and Marhanets.
"An entertainment venue, a store, an administrative building, infrastructure, and a power line were destroyed. A car caught fire," he said.
Synelnykove district
The Russian army also continued its attacks on the Synelnykove district. Russia struck the communities of Mezhova, Dubovyky, and Slovianka with FPV drones and guided aerial bombs.
"One person was killed and two others were injured. Four private homes, an administrative building, shops, a gas station, and a car were damaged. Fires broke out," Lysak says.
According to updated information, in the evening, Russia struck the Velykomykhailivka community with guided aerial bombs.
"A 75-year-old woman was killed. A 68-year-old man was injured. A private house was destroyed," he adds.
Lysak also revealed the results of the Russian strikes. Five photos are from Kamianske, the rest are from Nikopol.
At around 2 a.m. Kyiv time, monitoring groups reported the movement of several high-speed targets in the direction of the Dnipropetrovsk region and a series of explosions in Kamianske.
On the night of July 26, Russians destroyed the Epicenter supermarket in Kamianske with ballistic missiles.
That night, Russians launched Shahed drones at Ukraine.
