Russian forces launched several ballistic missiles and over 300 attack drones at Ukraine overnight. Most of the Russian targets were destroyed by the air defense forces of the Ukrainian Air Force.

"On the night of April 15, Russia launched three Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Rostov region, as well as 324 Shahed-type strike drones, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of drones from 7 directions, with about 250 of them being Shaheds," the Ukrainian Air Force notes.

Russian air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

As of 7 a.m. Kyiv time, Ukrainian air defense forces had shot down or neutralized 309 Russian Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of drones in the north, south, east, and center of Ukraine.

At the same time, ballistic missile strikes and 13 strike drones were recorded at 9 locations, and downed Russian targets were found at 10 locations.

"There are several enemy drones in the airspace. Follow safety rules," the Ukrainian Air Force adds.

Massive Russian strike on the night of April 15

Russia attacked Dnipro with strike drones last night. The Russian strike caused a fire in an administrative building. Later, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration reported that a 29-year-old woman was injured due to a Russian strike.

In addition, Russian troops attacked Cherkasy and the surrounding region with strike drones overnight. According to preliminary data, three people are known to have been injured.

Russians also launched a massive strike on Zaporizhzhia early this morning. A series of fires broke out in the city, and one person was killed.
