Russia strikes Ukraine with 147 drones overnight: Air defense's work reported

Last night, Russia launched more than 140 drones of various types at Ukraine, but most of them failed to reach their targets, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
Russia struck Ukraine with 147 unmanned aerial vehicles, specifically:
- Shahed-type strike drones, including jet-powered ones
- Gerbera drones
- Parodiya decoy drones.
They launched attacks from the following directions: Kursk, Orel, Milerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russia, as well as the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
The following forces were deployed to repel the Russian air attack:
- Air force
- Anti-aircraft missile units
- Electronic warfare units
- Unmanned aerial system units
- Mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to the latest data, Ukrainian air defense forces were able to shoot down or neutralize 111 Russian drones of the Shahed and Gerbera types, as well as other types of drones, in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
At the same time, the following were recorded:
- Russian drone strikes at 19 locations
- Downed drones and their debris falling in three locations.
Russia's air attack continues. Ukrainians are urged to follow safety guidelines and not to ignore air raid sirens.
Meanwhile, Russia is building new secret bases for launching long-range jet drones.
RBC-Ukraine also asked an expert how air defense forces would neutralize jet-powered Shaheds in the future.
Earlier, Russia unveiled the modernized BM-35 jet drone for the first time.
