Last night, Russian troops launched 147 Shahed-type strike drones (including jet-powered ones), Gerbera drones, Italmas drones, and Parodiya-type decoy drones at Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

Russia’s new attack began at 6 p.m. on July 26.

This time, the Russian drones flew from the directions of Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Oryol in Russia; Donetsk in the temporarily occupied territories (TOT); and Hvardiiske in the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea.

Air forces, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were involved in destroying Russian targets.

"According to preliminary data, as of 8 a.m. Kyiv time, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down or neutralized 123 Russian drones of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types in the north, south, and east of Ukraine," the report states.

In addition, the Ukrainian Air Force confirmed that 21 Russian drones struck 10 locations, and that debris from downed drones was found at 7 locations.

Ukrainian air defenders also warn that the Russian attack is still ongoing and that Russian drones remain in the airspace.

"Follow safety rules!" the soldiers urge.

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported on which cities Russia attacked last night. The initial consequences of the Russian strikes have become known.

Recently, Zelenskyy spoke about the shortage of missiles for air defense and explained why the situation has significantly worsened.

The President has already promised new appointments to bolster air defense.
