Russia strikes Ukraine with 146 drones and 13 missiles overnight

Overnight, the Russians attacked Ukraine with ballistic and cruise missiles as well as drones, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
Russia employed several types of weapons simultaneously. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russians struck Ukraine with:
- 8 Iskander-M ballistic missiles
- 4 Kh-22 cruise missiles
- 1 Kh-31P anti-radar missile.
In addition, 146 Russian drones were detected in Ukraine’s airspace.
What Ukrainian air defense forces shot down
As of this morning, the Ukrainian defenders have neutralized 3 Iskander missiles and 129 drones. The remaining targets reached their intended destinations.
5 Russian Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles, one Kh-31P anti-radar missile, and 16 attack drones were recorded striking 15 locations simultaneously. Debris from downed equipment fell at 7 additional locations. However, the Kh-22/32 cruise missiles never reached their targets.
In particular, Russia launched a ballistic missile attack on Kyiv overnight. Two people were killed as a result of the ballistic missile strikes.
On the evening of July 15, the Russians attacked Kharkiv with drones and an aerial bomb for several hours. Fires broke out in the city, and high-rise buildings were damaged.
Even earlier, on July 14, a Russian drone struck an apartment in a high-rise building in Kharkiv, causing a fire.
Meanwhile, Kyiv had also been attacked the day before, on the night of July 14, Russia struck the Holosiivskyi and Darnytskyi districts of the capital with ballistic missiles.
