Russia launched another drone attack on Ukraine overnight, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

On the night of June 22–23, Russia attacked Ukraine with 135 strike drones. Among them were Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas drones, as well as Parodiya decoy drones, including jet-powered variants.

The drones were launched from several locations:

  • Orel
  • Kursk
  • Bryansk
  • Primorsko-Akhtarsk
  • Millerovo.

According to preliminary data as of the morning of June 23, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down or neutralized 118 Russian drones. These included Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types. The destroyed drones were detected in the north, south, and east of the country.

At the same time, 13 Russian drones did reach their targets. Hits were recorded at 11 sites. Debris from the downed drones fell at three additional locations.

As of this morning, several Russian drones remain in Ukrainian airspace. The public is urged to follow safety guidelines and not to ignore air raid alerts.

On the night of June 23, Crimea was also on high alert. Fires broke out at an oil depot and a substation there, and traffic across the Kerch Bridge was blocked. According to monitoring groups, the Kavkaz port and a petroleum products storage complex were hit.

That same night, Russia also attacked Zaporizhzhia. Two residents were injured, and a residential building, a car repair shop, and a gas station were damaged.
