Russia strikes Ukraine with 108 drones overnight: Air defense's work reported

On the night of April 30, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with 108 drones. Kharkiv and Dnipro suffered the most, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
The Russians launched 108 attack drones and imitation drones at Ukraine. The launches were made from Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, and Chauda in Crimea.
Russian occupiers focused their attacks on Dnipro and Kharkiv. The attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare equipment, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 11:30 a.m. Kyiv time, on April 30, Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 50 Russian drones. Another 22 Russian imitator drones were locally lost (without negative consequences). Ukrainian air defense was active in the east, north, south, and center of Ukraine.
According to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 2 more Russian drones remain in the air, and combat operations continue.
This morning, Russian drones flew to the western regions of Ukraine. Air alerts were announced in Lviv, Lutsk, Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, and Ternopil regions.
Consequences of Russian attack on Ukraine
During the night, Russians struck Kharkiv about 16 times. As of 11 a.m. Kyiv time, the number of casualties in Kharkiv had risen to 47. Among the victims are 2 children and a pregnant woman.
In the city, 14 private and 3 apartment buildings, a civilian enterprise, and a medical facility were damaged.
A person was killed in a massive Russian drone attack on Dnipro, and fires broke out.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to the nighttime attack. He called for more pressure on Russia to cease fire and end the war.
