On the night of April 25, Russia launched over 100 drones at Ukraine from 3 directions, the Ukrainian Air Force says.

Last night, the Russians fired 103 attack drones and imitation drones at Ukraine. They were launched from three directions - Kursk, Bryansk, and Orel in Russia.

Ukrainian air defense forces shot down 41 drones. The air defense system was operating in the east, north, and center of the country. Another 40 Russian imitator drones were lost locally (without negative consequences).

Russian attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Consequences of Russian drone attack

Last night, Kharkiv was attacked by Russian drones. There was a series of explosions in the city. According to local authorities, several private houses were damaged.

Russians also massively attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region. An apartment building was hit in the city of Pavlohrad. As of 9 a.m. Kyiv time, 3 people were killed in the attack. A child is among the victims. Emergency and rescue operations continue in Pavlohrad.

Russian massive attack on April 24

Last night, the Russians launched a powerful combined attack on Ukraine. Russian invaders used 70 missiles of various types and 145 drones.

The main Russian attack was directed at Kyiv. Russians attacked the capital of Ukraine with missiles and drones. A residential building in the Sviatoshynskyi district was heavily damaged by the Russian attack. The Russian attack claimed 12 lives and injured 87 others.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that the Russians had hit Kyiv with a North Korean ballistic missile.

Yesterday, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Sumy, and Dnipropetrovsk regions were also under fire from Russia. Read more in RBC-Ukraine's report.
