Russia strikes Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia with ballistic missiles, leaving killed and injured

On the night of August 11, Russia launched a combined strike on Zaporizhzhia with missiles and guided aerial bombs. At least 5 people were killed, and another 20 were injured, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
Consequences
Russian attack began with a warning of an impending strike by high-speed missiles on the city. Shortly thereafter, Fedorov reported the initial consequences—damage to residential and non-residential buildings, power outages, and fires.
Emergency services immediately began responding at the scenes.
Casualties rising
Information on the casualties was updated several times throughout the night. Initially, there were reports of two wounded; later, the number rose to nine casualties. According to Fedorov, the Russians attacked industrial facilities and infrastructure, including a garage cooperative and several non-residential buildings.

As of 7:10 a.m., the death toll from the Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia rose to 6, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration. According to his report, during the nighttime attack, the Russians struck Zaporizhzhia with missiles and guided aerial bombs, injuring 19 people. Medical personnel are assisting at the scene.
Four apartment buildings and a number of non-residential buildings were damaged. The injured are receiving the necessary medical care.
On August 10, the Russians dropped a guided aerial bomb on Zaporizhzhia—at that time, the bomb injured 24 people, including a 10-year-old girl who was in critical condition, and the number of casualties that day also rose several times.
Russia plans to launch 200 ballistic missiles at Ukraine in a single attack and has already destroyed all gas stations in one of the communities in the Poltava region.
