Russia strikes Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia: 17 people injured, massive fires

Today, August 18, Russians struck Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the Russian attack, shops and a bus stop caught fire, and the number of victims rose to 17, according to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
"As a result of another Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia, shops and a bus stop caught fire, a minibus, residential buildings, and a workshop of one of the city's enterprises were damaged," Fedorov said.
A crater formed at the site of the strike. Police and rescue workers pulled a person with burns from it. Doctors are fighting for the victim's life.
According to the latest data, the number of people affected by the Russian strike has risen to 17.
The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration also published photos of the aftermath of the Russian strike on the city.
Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia
On the morning of August 18, explosions were heard in Zaporizhzhia. The Russians launched two strikes on the city while the air raid siren was sounding.
Initially, six people were reported wounded as a result of the Russian attack. The regional administration specified that a teenager was among the injured. Two victims are in serious condition and were hospitalized in the city's medical facilities.
Information about other victims is being clarified, and the number of people who needed medical assistance continues to grow.
Rescuers from the State Emergency Service revealed the first footage after the Russian attack.
