Russia strikes Ukraine's Shostka: Fires broke out, destruction occurred

At around 1:40 a.m., monitoring resources reported that Shostka was locationally clean — that is, no more drones were detected over the city. However, the air raid alert in the Sumy region continued until 2:41 a.m.
In the morning, it became known that several multi-story residential buildings, cars, and social infrastructure facilities were damaged in the Shostka community as a result of 3 Russian drones hitting the area.
Rescue workers, utility services, and specialists are currently working at the sites of the strikes, surveying the area and assessing the extent of the damage. Owners of destroyed or damaged property are promised all necessary assistance.

The Sumy community was also affected by the Russian night attack. According to the local administration, fortunately, there were no fatalities, but there was destruction, and one person was injured.
Several non-residential buildings, a store, and a private car were damaged in the Sumy community as a result of the Russian attack. A 54-year-old man was injured — medics quickly provided him with assistance on the spot, and he is being treated on an outpatient basis.
Sumy region remains one of the most frequently attacked border areas of Ukraine, where shelling, drone attacks, and attempts by Russian sabotage groups to break through are regularly recorded.
